The Meeting Place has been given an appropriate name, lor it is a meeting place for older Americans and the participants enjoy friendly fel lowship. There's always a feel ing of warmth and love amongst the people that come each day. The Meeting Place enhances the quality of life of the older adults in Polk County through enrichment of each individual s emotional, physical, nutritional, spiritual and social well being. Tlic Meeting Place helps the older adult maintain the highest possible level of independence - seeks to preserve the dignity of the older adult and to encourage a better, healthier more loving way of living.
